Abstract:- Kolabira fort is situated at a distance of 17 km. from the Jharsuguda town on the bank of river Telen. The Kolabira Jamindari was formed during the reign of Jayant Singh (1781-1818), the Chouhan King of Sambalpur. He appointed Sansadhar Singh as the Zamindar of Kolabira, After Sansadhar Singh his son Karunakara Singh‘ (Nayak), took charge of Kolabira Zamindari. At this time Maharaja Sai was the king of Sambalpur and after his death his widow Queen Mohankumari was made the queen, but the actual administration was in the hands of the British. As a result, there was an armed revolt against the British. The queen was sent as personal to Cuttack and the British appointed 'Narayan Singh‘ as the king of Sambalpur. ସାରାଂଶ: -  ଏହି କୋଲାବୀରା ଦୁର୍ଗ ଭେଡେନ ନଦୀ କୂଳରେ ଝାରସୁଗୁଡ଼ା ସହରରୁ ୧୭ କିଲୋମିଟର ଦୂରରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ । ସମ୍ବଲପୁରର ଚୌହାନ ରାଜା ଜୟନ୍ତ ସିଂ (୧୭୮୧-୧୮୧୮) ଙ୍କ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କାଳରେ  କୋଲାବିରା ଜମିଦାରୀ ଗଠନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।  ସେ ସନ୍ସାଧର ସିଂଙ୍କୁ ‘କୋଲାବିରାର ଜମିଦାର’ ଭାବେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିଥିଲେ, ସନ୍ସାଧର ସିଂ ପରେ ତାଙ୍କ ପୁଅ କରୁଣାକର ସିଂ ’ କୋଲାବିରା ଜମିଦାରୀ ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ । ଏହି ସମୟରେ ମହାରାଜା ସାଏ ସମ୍ବଲପୁରର ରାଜା ଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ପରେ ତାଙ୍କ ବିଧବା ରାଣୀ ମୋହନ କୁମାରୀଙ୍କୁ ରାଣୀ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା, କିନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରକୃତ ଶାସନ ବ୍ରିଟିଶଙ୍କ ହାତରେ ଥିଲା।  ଫଳସ୍ୱରୂପ, ବ୍ରିଟିଶମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଏକ ସଶସ୍ତ୍ର ବିଦ୍ରୋହ ହୋଇଥିଲା।  ରାଣୀଙ୍କୁ କଟକକୁ  ପଠାଗଲା ଏବଂ ବ୍ରିଟିଶମାନେ 'ନାରାୟଣ ସିଂ'ଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ବଲପୁରର ରାଜା ଭାବରେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିଥିଲେ।  ଖିଣ୍ଡାର ଚୌହାନ ଜମିଦାର ବୀର ସୁରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସାଏ ବ୍ରିଟିଶଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ ସଶସ୍ତ୍ର ବିପ୍ଳବ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିଲେ ଏବଂ କୋଲାବିରାର ଜମିଦାର କରୁଣାକର ନାୟକ ଜଣେ ଅନୁଗାମୀ ଭାବରେ ଏହି ବିପ୍ଳବରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ସୁରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସାଏଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ଥନ କରିଥିବାରୁ ତାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଜବତ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।  ତାଙ୍କୁ ୧୧ ଫେବୃଆରୀ, ୧୮୫୮ ରେ ସମ୍ବଲପୁରର ଜେଲ ପରିସରରେ ଫାଶୀ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ସମୟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବ୍ରିଟିଶ ...
